Farzaneh Haratyan

With an extensive background as an Associate Professor across universities in China and India, I have developed a rich understanding of diverse academic environments and cultural contexts.

I hold a PhD in Language and Literature, a second PhD, and a master’s degree in general psychology. This interdisciplinary foundation allows me to approach teaching and learning holistically. Over the past 17 years, I have cultivated an international career that has greatly enhanced my cultural awareness and refined my ability to communicate effectively with students from various backgrounds.

I take pride in creating and delivering high-quality instructional content that resonates with students. My experience includes leading engaging and interactive lectures that foster participation and collaboration. I emphasize the importance of maintaining accurate records and providing the necessary support for student success.

In my teaching practice, I focus on several key strengths:

• Teaching Expertise: I specialize in linguistics, TESL, literature, and education, bringing over two years of experience in higher education.

• Organizational Skills: My strong time management and organizational abilities enable me to balance teaching, research, and administrative tasks effectively.

As a highly educated Persian woman, I have continuously pursued excellence despite challenges, earning recognition as a “Distinguished Professor” in China (2023) and an “Outstanding Educator” in India (2024).

I integrate principles from educational, social, and positive psychology into my pedagogical approach, focusing on fostering well-being, self-actualization, and metacognitive awareness among students.
