Tasks and Responsibility: 

1. Managed, planned and coordinated the research and industry projects and research team, chemistry and materials/ bio-materials Laboratories.
2.  Wrote the scientific papers, reports and patents and proposals, and developed new ideas. 
3. Mentored junior team members, postdocs and graduate students.
4. Developed biocidal (bacterial and virus killing) and compostable (nano)composites for coating and reusable personal protective apparels (masks/gowns and so on) 
5. Developed nanowires for the soft bio-electronics (anti-tumor devices).
6. Performed systematic compositional and functional characterizations, and data analysis.
7. Worked on synthesis and analytical characterizations (compositional, molecular, optical, photovoltaic, cyclic volatmetry and EIS and mechanical properties) of functional materials and composites.

1. Supervised the chemical engineering, materials and chemistry laboratories (For both Education and Research Level)

3.  Developed the setups for preparation of functional microfibers and textiles for sustainable drug delivery, healthcare monitoring and sensing devices and applications. 
4. Supervised international young scientist and graduate students for their thesis research.   
5. Taught the fundamental courses for chemical engineering, chemical industry and materials chemistry (Graduate and undergraduate levels)
6. Performed Systematic compositional and chemical characterizations and data analysis.
7. Coordinated overseas research collaborations.
8. Coordinated international conferences.

Tasks and Responsibility:

1. Designed and set-up the novel coating and thin film preparation systems (modified spray coating and blade coating systems)
2. Developed the new technologies for casting the homogeneous and highly functional (photo-active and photo-catalyzing) ultra-thin films (such as ultrasonic post-treatment of wet-films).
3. Developed and managed the scientific projects, deliverable to industry, writing the scientific papers, reports, proposals, patents and writing research proposal for grant application.
4. Performed Systematic compositional and chemical characterizations and data analysis.
5. Supervised the research team and graduate students.

Responsibility:

1. Designed and set-up of Supercritical Fluid extraction, encapsulation, and reaction systems.
2. Worked on extraction and purification of herbal essences (for medication purposes) by supercritical method.
3. Prepared new composites and micro/nanocapules for sustainable drug delivery purposes. 
4. Mentored the junior researchers (Master and PhD students), for their thesis research.
5. Arranged and supervised the Chemical and Materials Engineering and Chemistry laboratories.
6. Wrote and submitted the Scientific Reports (Annual progression reports and patents for industry sponsors).
