World Federation of Hemophilia - WFH 2017 - 2023

Global Development – Regional Manager

  • Developed, implemented, monitored and evaluated a variety of WFH health care delivery and Humanitarian Aid programs, regional development projects, and events portfolio. 
  • Planed, administered, organized, and reported programs’ daily operations considering administrative and financial aspects.
  • Acted as main contact person in South America for the WFH national members organizations, maintaining a regular communication and conducting regular onsite visits and meetings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Managed and controlled the annual budget, forecast and KPIs for the area, providing management reports.
  • Builded and maintained strong relationships with government agencies, headquarters, and national member organizations.
  • Organized, coordinated, and delivery training on in-person, hybrid, or virtual events and workshops.

Achievements:

  • Jointly with the Humanitarian Aid program team, conducted assessment visits and specialized training for health care professionals in treatment products utilization in order to establish a formal international cooperation with Bolivia, Paraguay, Ecuador and Guyana government health authorities to start the reviewed treatment products donation program and start the prophylactic treatment for children to prevent the joint damage in the pediatric hemophilia population.
  • Leaded the creation and implementation of a National Hemophilia program in Bolivia in partnership with Minister of Health Blood National Program, patient organization and medical leaders aiming at identify references treatment centers cross-country and invested on the training of health care professionals in order to improve the care delivery in the country and promote the decentralization of care.
  • In partnership with Latin American Cooperative Medical Group of Hemostasis and Thrombosis (CLAHT) and International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) organized a few hemophilia symposia and lectures focus on gave visibility for the Women’s and girls with bleed disorders management for Latin America health care professionals.
  • Increased in 35% the community engagement in South America on WFH programs in 2017.
  • Signed an international memorandum of understanding with Colombia government.

Brazilian Association of Lymphoma and Leukemia (ABRALE) 2014 - 2017

International Relations Analyst

  • Administered daily operations of Latin Alliance Network considering sourcing, attendee management, event logistics, production, and budgeting.
  • Act as main contact person for the 115 members organizations maintaining a regular remote communication.

  • Negotiated the sponsorship, developed the guidelines and managed 3 rounds of application for Latin Alliance Network Grant Program created in 2014 to support local advocacy and awareness campaign developed by the Alliance members as well as medical training initiatives and development of new tecnologias to improve the life of the patients.
