Foram Shah

I am Foram Shah, pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Lakehead University. I am looking for a part-time/full-time job as a Physical Therapy Assistant or related roles in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. 

I have worked as an Assistant Physical Therapist at a clinic for a year. My responsibilities were:- 

• Examine and assess patients with back, hip, shoulder, knee, neck, and other injuries requiring therapy.
• Use expertise to monitor and determine the cause of trauma or the conditions which required therapy.
• Perform a complete examination of the patient’s past and present health records and design appropriate treatment plans for recovery
• Implement various therapeutic techniques such as dry needling, cupping, kinesiology taping, and graded exercises to provide the best care possible.
• Educate patients and families about the possible treatments and options.
• Evaluate patient’s recovery and maintained documentation for the effectiveness of therapy.
• Advise patients on home ergonomics for achieving long-term goals of recovery

I have completed my Bachelor's in Physiotherapy from India with six months of rotatory internship at various multispeciality hospitals, in June 2021. 

Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Lakehead University, Thunderbay, ON (a remote course).
