Harpreet Singh

I completed my Law in the year 2004 and since then I have practiced Law in various courts in Delhi, India before accepting the post of Panel Counsel & Addl. Public Prosecutor for government of Delhi. I have  recently completed my NCA in one go and thus eligible for membership in the Law Society of Ontario. I believe that the experience and knowledge I gained through my education and in last 18 years make me an excellent fit for this role.
 

Throughout my time in this profession, I have developed a strong foundation in various areas of law, including Criminal Laws, personal injury law and litigation. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience of working with top lawyers, law firms & government agencies.

As Addl. Public Prosecutor for Govt. of Delhi, at Delhi High Court from 2018-2023 handled all sorts of cases pertaing to serious frauds & all forms of criminal prosecutions. As a prosecutor, I had worked closely with the government of Delhi to prepare and implement programs to secure effective and efficient processing of cases to protect the interest of vulnerable groups of our society, including women, children, specially abled, LGTBQ etc. with specialization in immigration matters. 

As an organized and detail-oriented individual, I am confident that I can adapt quickly to the demands. I have a good working understanding of Canadian laws & also eager to learn from experienced colleagues & seniors and contribute to the growth and success. 

I am scheduled to write my solicitor exam on 13th June and Barrister exams soon thereafter.
