The Pretty Geeky (STEM Educational Games Start-up) Senior Manager, Digital Business Unit (Mar 2020 – July 2022) 

Revenue had plunged for this STEM games company during Covid as the business was largely offline. There was negligible online presence of the brand. I was the first hire in the Digital team. 

Tech:

 ● Led the development of the brand's e-commerce website & Implemented SEO standards to enable discoverability

 ● Set up Google Analytics to track customer behavior & Regularly optimized webpages to deliver better User experience 

● Drove web traffic through various brand campaigns with targeted audience segments & customized content 

● Technologies used: Shopify with modification done using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript ● Implemented AGILE Scrum SDLC 

Result: The website drives 70% revenue for the brand, has become a community engagement hub & is the largest discovery channel for B2B business opportunities. 

Management: 

● Evaluated & Hired the tech & performance marketing agency 

● Spearheaded the training of internal teams to handle customer interactions ● Directed the Keyword Strategy for on-page & off-page SEO 

● Within a span of 3 months transformed the paid media mix with focus on Facebook & Instagram Ads, Search Ads & Amazon Ads 

● Developed alternative revenue channels like google meet workshops, school programs & IGTV live to drive sales 

Result: Overall ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend) increased by 5x in the first 12 months 

 

Y&A Transformations (Digital Transformation Consultancy) 

At this Digital Transformation Consultancy, I worked with many multinational clients to deliver numerous Marketing Tech projects. I have a track record of delivering confederated & scalable business solutions that were powered by technology and content. 

As Senior Manager, Digital Transformations(April 2018- Dec 2019)

1. Godrej & Boyce Being one of the largest MNCs, Godrej needed a communication consolidation exercise across 11 consumer centric businesses. Orchestrated the development of the communication consolidation protocols in terms of Media, Creative & Data which delivered a savings of approx. CAD 3Mn on their yearly brand marketing spends of approx. CAD 10Mn

 2. Murugappa Group The Murugappa Corporate team had identified that the overall employee productivity is higher when they participated in the company’s month-long health initiative. But the participation rate was as low as 8% and the cause was not known. Redesigned the 30-days health initiative into a year-long corporate health program with a dedicated portal on their intranet. In the first year 56% of the total 75000 employees participated and reaped the benefits of good health. In the second year, the participation rate grew by 36% 

As Manager, Digital Transformations (Jan 2017 – Mar 2018) 

3. BMW had identified that the BMW owners are the biggest influencers for their potential customers. Therefore, they wanted to strengthen their relationship with the existing 70,000 BMW owners in India through a program called BMW Prive. Remodeled their existing transactional reward system into an experience-led year-long engagement program & Developed a customized Customer Relationship Management Software to deliver personalized user experiences. The User Response Rate (URR) grew by 4X. 

4. Vikatan The media house needed an Ad Sales Management Platform that could streamline ad sales processes. Spearheaded the development of the software with integration to Tableau to allow the CXO Team to view revenue numbers in a dashboard on the go. Developed APIs to incorporate incumbent systems & softwares. Due to optimized processes that were now managed by the platform, sales grew by 23% and wastage reduced by 78%. 

 

Infosys System Engineer (Aug 2013 – May 2015) 

At this multinational Tech Giant, I was part of the Toolbox Team for Boeing 777. I was the first Angular Js hire in the team as they wanted to upgrade their Aircraft Maintenance Software. Angular Js was a very nascent technology then. 

● Set up a team of 5 fresh graduates to learn Angular Js and develop training modules 

● Liaised with training manager to create training materials, schedules, tests & quizzes for evaluation

 ● Trained the first batch of 20 IT professionals within 3 months while updating the course on the go. Then trained the rest of the 200 IT professionals in the Toolbox team in the next 3.5 months Based on these training, the Toolbox team earned an additional project with Boeing 

● Set up a team 20 newly trained AngularJs professionals for the Boeing ToolBox revamp 

● Led the phase wise development of the upgraded UX of the Aircraft Maintenance Software 

● Led the bi-monthly Sprint Review Meetings for offshore & onshore teams 

● Contributed to the SOP documentation and daily scrum call handling

 

eClerx Analyst (Sep 2012 – July 2013) 

At this Knowledge Process Outsourcing Organization, I was part of the Dell Pricing Team. They needed to optimize the current pricing practices & reports for the Dell products which would directly improve the productivity score. Developed a crawler bot using JS and advanced excel to help gather all the pricing related information without human intervention thereby also reducing the human error factor. The process accuracy increased from 89.76 to 98.97% & The productivity score improved by 73%. After the success of the crawler bot, was entrusted to implement their usage across 43 teams.
