Job Duties:

●  Utilizing Kubernetes to orchestrate the deployment and scaling of Docker Containers.

●  Constantly working on Kubernetes EKS upgrades, and Helm Chart upgrades.

●  Managing complete AWS Infrastructure.

●  Managing Jenkins to deploy infrastructure and applications.

●  Utilizing Jenkins Shared Library to build pipelines

●  Migrating applications from EC2 to EKS or ECS and automating using terraform.

Projects: End Client - “Tenerity”

- Tenerity is an intelligent engagement company that generates $294.1 Million in revenue.

Progressive delivery using “Flagger” (Canary release)

●  Implemented the Flagger tool within the organization with complete ownership after doing a POC.

●  It helped in automating the release process for applications running on Kubernetes.

●  It also reduced the risk of introducing a new software version in production by gradually shifting traffic to the latest version.
●  Other benefits include safer deployments, flexible traffic routing, and integrated web-hooks to run acceptance tests and load tests.
“Karpenter” - To simplify Kubernetes infrastructure | Cost Optimization
●  A proof of concept was conducted on the Karpenter tool and integrated into the Kubernetes infrastructure to manage workloads and reduce costs considerably.
●  Saved around “20k dollars per month” in the Production environment.
●  Using Karpenter, we could quickly deploy Kubernetes infrastructure with the right nodes at the right time.
“Squadcast” - An incident management and on-call alerting platform
● Compared multiple products and did a proof of concept with Squadcst.
● Features evaluated:
o AD Integration with AzureAD.
o New Relic integration.
o Costing: Cheaper than PagerDuty and OpsGenie.

● It was then automated using Terraform and implemented end-to-end throughout the organization.
