About Ikkshita Vinaya:

I'm a third-year Environment and Business student at the University of Waterloo who is always eager to learn and hungry for a challenge.

As a candidate for Bachelors in Environment and Business, I have taken up various courses that allow me to work with data to perform inferential statistics such as sampling distribution and confidence interval. I am also well versed in finance and have knowledge in in ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma, Industrial ecology. 

I hope engage my skills in an stimulating environment that helps me to grow and promotes sustainability and innovation. 

Experience

Marketing Coordinator at CGI 
Support the consulting team with tactical work on the intranet, employee town halls and leadership meetings.
Provide writing support for materials including presentations, social media, website content on MS PowerPoint, Canva etc. 
Conducted market research to identify opportunities to inform our marketing and product strategy by researching the market, clients, and competitors.
Collaborated with other companies to maintain schedule for reoccurring meetings while keeping notes showing progression and created action plan for everyone in the team.

Facilitator at University of Waterloo

Facilitated online and in-person workshops on Foundational Training Program to upcoming Peer Mentors through experiential learning and reflection. 
Also facilitated interacted workshops on Leadership, Conflict Management and Effective Team Building amongst new peer leaders and international student to enhance their knowledge and upgrade skills.
Acquire knowledge of the required content for each workshop facilitated through attending multiple content training as well as learning of the material. 
Coordinate with co-facilitators and Team Leads via MS Teams to adapt the content according to the various groups. 
Assist with general program administration and logistics including tracking attendance, workshop preparation, administering and completing feedback.
