From edible illusions to unique concoctions that pull on your heartstrings and bring you the fond tang of nostalgia with every bite, his masterpieces are nothing short of magic.

His accomplishments include Top 30 Under 30 Best Chefs in Canada and a Forbes Top 40 Under 40 nomination, solidifying him as one of the most exciting culinary voices in the country.

Hospitality saved Ivan’s life, and now he uses it to transform others. Passionate about mentorship and second chances, he builds kitchens that uplift people from all backgrounds and celebrates neurodiversity as a powerful advantage in fine dining. His culinary mission is sharp and ambitious: to elevate Canadian ingredients to global recognition through his signature Progressive Contemporary Canadian Cuisine, proving that Canada’s terroir deserves center stage in world gastronomy.

That vision flows into PRIVÉ, his reimagined luxury catering company and secret dining experience series. Through one-night-only dinners in unexpected venues — blending Michelin-level cuisine, performance, and atmosphere — PRIVÉ gives guests access to a world normally reserved for the elite, but without the pretension. It is fine dining at its most personal: intimate, exclusive, unforgettable.

Creativity doesn’t stop at the plate. Ivan is also the founder of Urban Klay, a luxury streetwear brand born from tragedy and built on resilience. Created to honor a close friend lost to suicide, the brand transforms pain into empowerment — crafting meaningful, limited-edition pieces designed to inspire confidence and connection.

Standing at the intersection of food, fashion, and emotional storytelling, Chef Ivan Bekcic is building a new kind of cultural movement — one where identity becomes a strength, innovation has no ceiling, and every creation, whether plated or stitched, tells a story worth remembering.
