Jamie Rother

Professionally, I am a passionate and dynamic professional with software skills and careers in the residential property space (Mortgages, Realtor, Residential Solar Systems, Property and Casualty insurance), and education (Teaching, Coaching, Training, and Leadership).

My personal passion and I believe purpose is to be of service to others. I do my best to live a life of humility and gratitude. I am a mentor to at risk teens, men struggling with addiction, and volunteer in the religious and spiritual community. 

I have experience working with a diverse population of individuals through several different cities I have resided in up and down the East Coast and the South Western parts of the United States. For personal reason I am now also exploring potential opportunities for employment and service in The Greater Toronto Area.

I come from a high character family that consisted of my parents, and older and younger brother. Both brothers have excelled in their professional careers. One currently as a global educational strategist.

My hobbies out side of service work include sports as I was a former college athlete, physical fitness and health, and personal & profession growth programs, books, and courses.

Over the course of my career, I have gained extensive experience in mortgage sales and underwriting, working closely with clients to guide them through the home buying process. This experience has honed my analytical skills and attention to detail, allowing me to effectively evaluate mortgage applications and make informed decisions. Additionally, my time as a Realtor has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the real estate market, enabling me to identify profitable opportunities and negotiate favorable deals for my clients.

Furthermore, I have ventured into the field of residential solar energy systems, where I have contributed to sustainable energy solutions for homeowners. This role has broadened my technical knowledge and fostered a strong commitment to environmentally friendly practices. Additionally, I have experience in property and casualty insurance, where I have developed expertise in risk assessment, policy management, and claims handling.

Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated proficiency in a multitude of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and software programs. I am adept at adapting to new technologies and leveraging them to streamline processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive operational efficiency. My ability to quickly grasp new software platforms and leverage their capabilities has been instrumental in maximizing productivity and achieving business objectives.

Moreover, my experience as a teacher and coach in the public school system has allowed me to develop strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. I have a passion for mentoring and motivating individuals to reach their full potential, fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment. This background has cultivated my ability to connect with diverse audiences, tailor instructional approaches, and manage projects effectively.

In summary, my professional journey has equipped me with a versatile skill set that spans the residential property space, software proficiency, and teaching and coaching expertise. I am confident that these experiences have prepared me to excel in a multitude of roles.

Training to become a certified Scrum Master, part of the Agile project management framework. I have a bachelors of science in education as well.
