As a mid-career professional, my extensive experience and knowledge form a robust foundation that enables me to excel as a communicator. What truly distinguishes me and fuels my unwavering dedication to the profession is the art of cultivating meaningful relationships, forging deep connections with communities and driving significant positive change. 

My experience in internal communications, external communications, events, stakeholder engagement, marketing, branding, and public affairs has underscored the importance of authenticity and genuine connections. I've had the privilege of working on Internal and External communication campaigns that not only meet objectives but deeply resonate with people, thanks to data-driven insights.

In my daily work, I focus on effective project and people management, emphasizing collaboration. I am proud of the relationships I have built with peers, senior leaders, community partners, and volunteers. My colleagues recognize my dedication, reliability, and an organized approach guided by values like integrity, respect, and a sincere desire to help. I place value in maintaining a positive attitude and in recognizing and responding to the needs of individuals and teams. When it comes to strategy, engagement and communication, my approach is rooted in thoughtfulness and authenticity, creating a real impact. In the fast-paced world of communications, I rely on critical thinking to plan, address challenges and ensure success every day.

Experience

effectively manage projects and people, collaborating with peers, senior leaders, community partners and volunteers to inform and engage internal and external audiences. I set strategy and implement Internal Communications and External Communications plans to drive results, strengthening the hospital’s brand and reputation. I utilize my effective writing skills to create engaging content and communicate change. I organize, promote and execute events to engage with staff, on behalf of senior leaders and to promote hospital initiatives. I connect with the community and facilitate community impact. 

In healthcare, no two days are the same. There are competing priorities, urgent issues and unexpected changes. Every day, I come to work with a positive attitude and a willingness to help, to make a difference for our community and our staff who serve those in need.
