I am a trained computer science engineer, have been working as a security guard for the last two years part-time as well, and have excellent problem-solving, observation, quick learning, and customer service skills. Now studying at Concordia University of Edmonton for a master's degree.

Experience

Worked as Security Guard

  • Worked part-time as a security guard for Devi Super Store, India from May 2022 to August 2023. Also Community/neighborhood watch in India from February 2021 to December 2021.


My responsibilities were:

  • Responsible for the security of staff and the public.
  • Worked with CCTV systems, in-store, and surrounding areas.
  • Liaised with police and helped them with incident reporting.
  • Worked in shift patterns to ensure 24-hour security coverage.

Also worked as a Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from Oct-2021 to Aug-2023.

My responsibilities were:
 

  • Application Maintenance

  • Customer Services
  • Coordinate with the cybersecurity group for system patches

Education

I have an Alberta Basic Security Guard license.

I am currently doing my masters in Information Security at Concordia University of Edmonton. Also, I have a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering.
