I am an immigrant from the Philippines, a mother of four

I have experience working with immigrants for almost ten years.  I worked as a Newcomer Liaison Worker of Partners in Settlement and Integration, SaskAbilities Yorkton and almost six years as a Settlement Worker in School at the East Central Newcomer Welcome Centre, Yorkton.  I worked with families of different nationalities, an advocate for them, I do a lot of volunteer work in the community and very passionate in helping with people. 

My work background  helped me understand the different situation of a life of an immigrant, and because of these I took Immigration Consultant Diploma, an online program of Ashton College. The newcomers in our community are very familiar with me because of my work ethic and always a go to person whenever they have concerns, questions and worries.  

I have understood the different concerns of employers as well, most of the time they would ask our office for applicants. I also know the contributions of newcomers to the growth of our city and some of our local government officials are very familiar with me and what I do for our clients. 

I took Immigration Consultancy at Ashton College, and updating my knowledge through reading updated Immigration programs.

Originally, I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science, Major in Psychology from Centro Escolar University and took some Masteral Units for Personnel and Human resource Management at University of Santo Tomas.  These Universities are prestigous Universities in the Philippines.
