Eleven years working on various film and television projects, often as a head of department. This work is interchangeable with what is required as a Personal Assistant: I am able to create and manage schedules, invoices, budgets and work in an adaptable, collaborative way. Seven years in customer service has given me valuable skills such as effective listening skills, excellent communication and the ability to work in fast paced environments. Fast typing skills, supervising staff, accurate data entry and database management were all required for my role as an Archivist at a live news studio. Coming from a background in News footage management, I am also very technically minded and very confident with computers and new technologies.

• Eleven years working as a Freelance Filmmaker, often as a Head of Department, has given me a great appreciation for creativity and organisation. My ability to manage logistics, schedules, budgets and design is applicable to many industries.
• Seven years in customer service roles has given me the ability to be friendly and kind whilst working efficiently to get the job done. I have worked as a bartender, barista, within events management and as a travel consultant. This means not only can I research and book complex travel arrangements, I can also make a great cup of coffee.
• In my most recent role as an Archivist and Teleprompter Operator at 7NEWS, I was supervising and training all new staff. This role required fast, accurate data entry, technical knowledge and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Remaining calm under pressure is also a skill I often used working in a live studio environment. Technical issues can arise at the worst of times, and must be solved quickly, when live on TV to hundreds of thousands of people.
