JB Arts 2021 - 2023;

_Assistant: My main responsibilities were to help in classes by set up and gather materials, clean up between sessions, respond to emails, create social media posts, update website pages, and complete online deliveries. 

_Retail and Customer Service: I worked as a cashier, helping customers with their purchases, answering phone calls, doing inventory, reorganizing the store, creating signs and labels, and opening and locking up the store. 

_Teacher: As one of the kids after school and summer teachers, I handled planning lessons, setting up and cleaning up classes, teaching a variety of techniques and mediums to students. I had to produce a new lesson with varied materials for every new class as the company valued never repeating a project. I instructed kids between the ages of 4 - 15 and specialized in clay sculpting, drawing for graphic novels, and painting.

_Side Jobs: JB Arts would be hired by the town to take part in festivals, elementary school presentations/classes, and window painting where I would go to helpThese jobs included;

_Set up/clean up and creating finger puppets using mixed media for the Puppets Up booth at the Ottawa’s Children’s Festival.

_Silk-screening and tie dying t-shirts for Almonte’s Canada Day festivals and the grand opening for the Vodkow’s Dairy Distillery in Almonte.

_Leading lessons for elementary school students in clay sculpting.

_Designing and painting windows of storefronts for local businesses.

_Diploma in Illustration & Concept Art 2024

From this program, I developed my problem-solving skills, drawing techniques, and production methods for the magazine, graphic novel, and entertainment industries. I learned how to successfully put together pitch-packages, comics, illustration books, and concept designs for animated tv-shows and games. 

_1 year credential in Business Marketing 2021

From this course, I learned the foundations for marketing and developed my business skills to apply roles for the industry. I received the knowledge of how marketing affects the operations of a business from product conception to launch and delivery. 

_Creative Writing 2021

From this program, I advanced my creative writing knowledge and skills for drafting short stories and romance writing. I developed my individual writing style through character development, narrative unity, and plot construction.
