Abstract & Responsibilities:

  • Custom Objects, Automation, Formulas, Validation Rules, Workflow and Approvals and other Salesforce Admin responsibilities
  • Setting a baseline of requirements with the executive team and educating them on the importance of participation and the benefits derived from their investment in Salesforce. The purpose of these sessions are to provide tangible evidence upfront on the benefits of staff usage through identification of Salesforce as a cost-reduction center.
  • Integration of 3rd-party Apps via AppExchange (i.e. MapAnything, DocuSign)

I author a technology journal dedicated to CRM & the next evolution of the internet at jimbuchan.ca and have written over 300 articles from Salesforce Formulas and Workflow Rules to the importance of adoption and executive education of custom apps on Salesforce.com to Cryptocurrency & Blockchain. An advocate of Agile/SCRUM methodology, I have developed a Salesforce-specific approach to the application of Agile in Daily, Weekly and Bi-Weekly sprints using KanBan and Dashboards. I also hold 2 patents for an algorithm for integration of international professionals to Canada and am a Six Sigma Green Belt.
