• Custom Objects, Automation, Formulas, Validation Rules, Workflow and Approvals and other Salesforce Admin responsibilities

Prior to my corporate professional experience, I served with the Armed Forces as a member of the Signals Intelligence corps. Educated at the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics in Kingston, Ontario, I served in Nova Scotia, Ontario, B.C. and a 6-month tour of duty in Alert, Nunavut.

I author a technology journal dedicated to CRM & the next evolution of the internet at jimbuchan.ca and have written over 300 articles from Salesforce Formulas and Workflow Rules to the importance of adoption and executive education of custom apps on Salesforce.com to Cryptocurrency & Blockchain. An advocate of Agile/SCRUM methodology, I have developed a Salesforce-specific approach to the application of Agile in Daily, Weekly and Bi-Weekly sprints using KanBan and Dashboards. I also hold 2 patents for an algorithm for integration of international professionals to Canada and am a Six Sigma Green Belt.
