About Jordan Colbert:

I presently live and work in Winnipeg, MB; though I have strong connections to our Northern Communities through close family ties in Swan River.

Following my graduation from the University of Calgary's Bachelor of Psychology program in 2020, I relocated home to Manitoba and began putting down roots of my own. To date, I have dedicated my career to the public service in order to directly support members of our community through government channels.

I have over 5 years of experience working in various departments within the public sector. Namely:

  • Immigration Program Officer / PM2: The Manitoba Department of Labour and Immigration - Skilled Worker Operations: October 2024 - Present.
  • Employment and Income Assistance Counsellor / SP3: The Manitoba Department of Families: May 2023 - October 2024.
  • Child and Family Services Worker / SP4: The Manitoba Department of Families & Michif Child and Family Services: March 2021 - April 2023.
  • Financial Worker / Under-fill Staff / SP1: The Manitoba Department of Families: November 2020 - March 2021.

Education

Bachelor of Arts - Psychology: Obtained June 2020.
