Katarina Kong

Hi I am Katarina, I am 29 years young and am a fulltime single mom and student. 

I love music, The outdoors, being with family and making people smile! 

I moved back to Edmonton in December After my Youngest brother was Murdered in October to be closer to my 2 other younger brothers. 

My Most recent Job experience is in a Call center for appliance parts called Reliable Parts, I worked there for 2 years and 5 months most of the time i worked Remotely from home. As a fulltime student my availability has changed and am looking for remote work again with evening or afternoon hours or part time. I am a positive person who loves to learn new things and solve problems! If you think i could be a good fit for your company please reach out via text/ call or email! 

My most recent Position was a call center representative, we were required to take at least 70 calls a day, I would manage an average of 100+.

We would look up appliance models and find parts then offer the part number to the customer and make the sale if they wanted to purchase at that time. We would respond to Email inquires and respond to voicemails. 

 My jobs before that were autobody shop jobs where i did a wide variety of tasks.

I started out as a shop/car detailer Cleaning customer vehicles inside and out, maintaining the shops cleanliness, Adding decals and emblems to the vehicles and shuttling customers to and from their homes. 

Then i became a paint prepper I learned to sand, prime and mask the vehicles for the painter. 

I was also the receptionist and would answer the phones, Book clients in, Provide detailed updates for the clients on their vehicle repairs and arrange rental vehicles for clients.    

I worked for a cleaning company before that going to clients houses and cleaning every room. 

And finally i was a arborist winching branches that were removed from trees, Cleaning the grounds, weed wack, pruning and tree wedging. 

I am Currently enrolled full-time at Sundance collage In the Mental health and addictions program that will complete in April 2024. My goal is to become a worker with at risk youth and children then advance to become a social worker.
