I am a passionate digital marketer and account manager with a proven track record in driving results and engaging audiences. With a solid 3-year background in the dynamic field of digital marketing, I have implemented a number of in-house marketing projects and provided consultation to a diverse of advertisers for executing their campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
With prior roles as a Digital Marketing Specialist and an In-house Digital Marketer, I have gained extensive knowledge, hands-on experience, and valuable skills in search engine management, search engine optimization, and social media advertising. Effectively implemented diverse branding and performance campaigns (including search campaigns, display campaigns, video campaigns, shopping campaigns, etc.), I primarily aim at delivering value to brands while emphasizing tangible outcomes such as conversions and engagement.
In addition to my working experience, the Marketing Management - Digital Media Postgraduate program at George Brown College has been instrumental in expanding my expertise. The program has provided me with comprehensive knowledge in database application for marketing, paid media advertising, integrated marketing, and search marketing (SEM and SEO). These valuable skills will enable me to excel as a full-stack digital marketer, equipped to navigate the dynamic landscape of the industry.
Driven by my keen interest in content marketing, I established my own blog as a content hub for evergreen content, which has allowed me to explore my creativity and enrich my skills in content writing.
Experience
As a dedicated and creative team member of the Student Association - George Brown College, currently I specialize in managing marketing and promotions for Events & Recreation team with a strong commitment to enhancing the campus experience for students.
My previous role as an in-house marketer has equipped me with valuable skills and knowledge in captivating content marketing, generating visual marketing assets and enhancing brand visibility.
In my role as a Google Ads Representative, I had the privilege of supporting businesses that partnered with Google, including advertising agencies and large enterprises. I was professionally trained in SEM and SEO to assist hundreds of advertisers with campaign optimization, data analysis and market insights. Managing a substantial portfolio of Google Ads accounts, I have attained knowledge in search engine management, conversion generation and innovative technique application to maximize campaign effectiveness.
My first job was Business Development Assistant, which allowed me to fulfill a variety of responsibilities to support the efficient operation of the department.
Education
Enrolling in the Digital Media Marketing program at George Brown College has been an invaluable experience that has not only broadened my horizons but has also equipped me with a profound knowledge of digital marketing. Throughout my time in the program, I gained a deep understanding of the intricacies of the digital marketing landscape, including the latest trends, strategies, and tools that are essential for success in this ever-evolving field.
One of the standout features of the program was the emphasis on practical, hands-on learning. I had the privilege of working on real-world projects and campaigns, which provided me with invaluable experience in applying the theories and concepts I learned in class to actual marketing scenarios. This hands-on experience allowed me to develop the confidence and competence needed to excel in the fast-paced world of digital marketing.
Furthermore, the program was meticulously designed to foster the development of critical skills that are vital for a successful career in marketing. From honing my analytical abilities to mastering digital advertising platforms and understanding consumer behavior, I received comprehensive training that has not only enhanced my professional prospects but also enabled me to make data-driven marketing decisions.
