I am an electrical engineer with a degree from the University of Waterloo as well as a diploma from Centennial College in Automation and Robotics. I have a wide range of experience spanning software development, mechatronics, PLC programming, control systems, and electronics. I am an excellent problem solver and a fast learner. My objective is to find a position that can challenge me and make use of my multidisciplinary skillset.

Electrical Engineer-in-Training
● Wrote a script integrated with a Tesla API using JavaScript to automate daily data collection and SQL Server database
updates, to a total of over 1 million entries per week
● Engineered and designed a mathematical model in MATLAB, then debugged PLC code using TwinCAT to allow flywheel
machines to react to changes in a wind farm, reducing previous response times by a factor of 30
● Monitored and reviewed diagnostics for our flywheel facility through an HMI, as well as documenting failures and
conducting root cause analysis leading to a 75% increase in facility uptime and a 45% reduction in technician calls
● Created mathematical models and implemented them into an Excel tool that helped development team approximate the
amount of acreage needed for battery projects of various parameters, with an error margin of less than 8%

Research Assistant
● Coded and modified a Motohawk engine control unit in order to facilitate design of an autonomous driving algorithm for a
golf cart
● Designed a controller circuit for the new ECU, including an IMU, GPS, Hall sensor, and tire pressure sensors
● Collaborated with two other engineers to implement data from controller through MATLAB Simulink to optimize steering
and navigation
JDS Uniphase | Ottawa, ON September 2011 – April 2012
Software Design Engineer
● Wrote a VB.NET platform from scratch to centralize all hardware testing, scheduling, and results, which standardized
testing amongst all verification teams in the company
● Implemented MySQL and JSON to organize data neatly and efficiently, eliminating the need for verification engineers to
physically check test units and wait for results
● Developed a library of test scripts in tcl to stress test a multiport OTN muxponder (8 client ports), improving the reliability
of the company’s flagship product
