About Kevin Kelly:

My name is Kevin and I consider myself to be an avid and capable material scientist and engineer with more than 10 years of experience. I have focused mainly on developing, characterizing and evaluating adsorbents for water treatment applications in laboratory, simulated and operational environments. In particular, solid porous adsorbents in powder, granular and membrane form based on activated carbon, metal oxides and metal-organic frameworks. Beyond formulating and characterizing nanomaterials in the lab, I possess the skills to integrate them into components to facilitate integration. From coatings and lamination to granulation, my range of expertise is robust and closely aligned with green chemistry principles. I am also well versed in the design of chemical and biological reactors where I can transform a tangible problem into a model to obtain useful analytical expressions that can help predict the behavior of water treatment systems.
