About Kiana Kamali:
I am looking to gain more experience in my field of study and to apply my knowledge to solving real-world problems.I am eligible to register as an Engineer in Training (EIT).
Experience
I joined UBC WasteNauts in summer 2020 which is an engineering design team with a focus on sustainability in engineering and principles in the circular economy. My other successful research is my capstone project of treating British Columbia's Acid Mine Drainage in my senior year at UBC. We received the design and innovation day Industry award and the 6th International Conference on Gas Hydrates Award. My time management skills assisted me with working as a part-time product specialist for Apple in Vancouver.
Education
I have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemical and processing engineering from the University of British Columbia.
