About Laura Sewap:

I am an Indigenous Woman from the North, I speak my wood land Cree language and first language, i do also speak English as my second language. I have been sober for ten years. 

Experience

I completed a Mental Health and Addictions Counselling program through Saskpoyltech in June 2023. I have been working with clients who have life experiences with substance use and suffer from mental health issues. I've also worked with children in the foster care system as well as in treatment centers for youth. 

Education

I am currently in school to obtain my Social Work degree, as i have a diploma in Mental Health and Addiction.
