Lauren Chapman

I have achieved by Honours Bachelor of Interior Design from Georgian College and Honours Bachelor of Design from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Fashion Communications program in 2017.

In addition to my extensive educational background, I have many years of experience in client relations as a Project Manager in Toronto. Having gone back to school for interior design, I am now skilled in construction documentation, building materials and building code regulations, permit applications, approvals, contract documentation assembly, rendering software, graphic design, and executing design briefs to completion. 

I have obtained my Honours Bachelor of Interior Design from Georgian College as well as my Honours Bachelor of Design from Ryerson University's Fashion Communications Program in 2017. I am very proficient in visual communications having come from a fashion and graphic design background. All Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) are programs that I utilize on a daily basis. 

In addition to my extensive educational background, I have many years of experience in client relations as a Digital Project Manager in Toronto. Now, having gone back to school for an interior design degree, I am skilled in technical working drawings (AutoCad & Revit), construction documentation, 3D rendering (Sketchup, V-Ray, Enscape, Twinmotion), building materials and building code regulations, permit applications, approvals, contract documentation assembly, and executing design briefs to completion. I have gained high-end residential experience while working as an Associate Designer for FRAHM Interiors located in Burlington; a Junior Designer for Gillian & Co. located in Collingwood; a mentorship with Lydia Van Zyl Designs located in Innisfil; and my time as a Kitchen and Bathroom Designer at Home Depot.
