About Leonard Cody:
I have over six years' experience, at the British Columbia Nurses Union, as a Labour Relations Officer and Duty to Accommodate Labour Relations Officer. My key responsibilities were the day-to-day maintenance, enforcement, and interpretation of collective agreement provisions for assigned bargaining units. I advised stewards and members on the interpretation of the collective agreement, labour legislation, union polices and other issues. I initiated and resolved grievances on the local level and presented cases at arbitration. I work well independently and within a team. I know my excellent negotiating, problem solving, and conflict management skills coupled with my labour relations experience would make me an ideal candidate.
