Lucas Morris

Detail-oriented and highly motivated  Media Studies graduate looking to start his career in the Digital Media / television/film production/ photography or photo editing industries. A reliable and responsible team player with excellent interpersonal and listening skills. 

Photographer with Kaman's Art Shoppes at their Canada's Wonderland Location. 

Videographer and editor for North Pole Hoops, a basketball scouting agency, as part of their Video Production team. While there, I filmed multiple basketball games focusing on highlighted players. I organized and edited game footage for publication on their website. 

During my years at Guelph-Humber I produced an innovated sports documentary along with two television productions using studio grade filming equipment.

While volunteering at Rogers Communications I was exposed to all aspects of television production, including filming live interviews using television production grade cameras. I showed my leadership capabilities working as a floor director by informing the talent of important timings and camera angles. I became an integral part of the production team as an audio technician, graphics operator, technical director, and teleprompter operator.

I am a graduate of the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Studies, specializing in digital communication. I also have a Diploma in Media Communications from the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. I am currently working towards my Film and Video Production Certificate at George Brown College
