My Computer Science degree was in Cognitive Systems - Computation Intelligence and Design, which is a multidisciplinary degree that focuses on Computer Science, but mixes in elements of Phycology, Philosophy, and Linguistics. This sets me apart from traditional computer science graduates because I have hands-on experience studying artificially intelligent systems and their many advantages and dangers from a variety of perspectives beyond the software engineering aspect. I am a great problem solver and a very experience documentation reader. I am up to the task of learning about anything that is thrown at me that I am not familiar with, and I am eager to join a fun and fast-paced team. 

I currently work as part of a team of full stack developers helping maintain and expand multiple outwards facing client portals. The position allows ownership of large features spanning multiple sprints that reach production on research grant application web apps that process 15,000 - 20,000 applications per year. Daily work includes creating/updating restful API services, templating Angular components, creating observables for state control, and writing SQL migration scripts for database expansion/maintenance – often taking time to expand knowledge by reviewing pull requests from senior developers and reading through documentation of relevant frameworks and libraries such as RxJS, Playwright, PrimeNG, Bootstrap, and Kendo UI.

I have a Computer Science degree from the University of British Columbia that was received in 2022 with 1 year Coop experience as a full-stack software developer.
