Martin Quesnel

As a technology leader, having spearheaded many National Government projects with both the Correctional Services of Canada and later Shared Services Canada and in a leadership role I strongly believe I am tailor made for this role.  To bolster this claim I graduated two simultaneous engineering programs (Computer Engineering & Electronics Engineering).  I am fluently bilingual, and I identify as Indigenous Métis and I'll throw in that I am well travelled having lived abroad for 10yrs counting many different countries as home. 

 I've held various senior level position such as National Asset Manager, Regional Client Service Manager, IT Project Manager - Data Center Operations among others with the Government of Canada.  I've occupied a Robotics Engineering position and most recently shifted to a IT Operations Specialist for a Credit Union.   I co-own a small business with my wife, and continue to provide consultancy services for past clients within the marine industry. 
 

In short I'm that 80's wiz-kid who knew everything about computers before computers were mainstream.  I've been the subject matter expert "specialist" for nearly 20yrs and I pride myself on exceeding expectations.  I've been called a walking encyclopedia,  "Q" referencing the omnipotent God from the Star-Trek Next Generation franchise and most recently, my VP called me a budget friendly whirlwind of change!

I thrive in a fast pace world, I excel in innovation as I leverage technology to work for me and not the other way around and I am convinced as your new VP, your business will grow in ways it never dreamed of!
