Maxime Morin

I'm a newly graduated Bachelor's in Bideo Game Development at UQAC. I've been learning Unity since September 2017 and Unreal Engine since September 2018. I specialised in gameplay programming, but also do online programming, tools programming, UI programming, AI programming, Shader programming… I've touched a little bit of everything to be able to handle myself in all the aspects of development. I also do Game Design, Level Design, have some experience in UI/UX and in Graphics. 

I'm currently a Teacher at Studio XP and give lessons on video game programmation, design and graphics to children normally between 10-17. I only work in evenings and weekends. 

I'm a French Canadian from Chicoutimi, Quebec, CA, but I'm also fluent in english.

I'm a passionate of all types of RPG games and a sucker for lore in fantasy titles. I'm also a big DnD and Magic : The Gathering fan. I watch a lot of anime when I'm not gaming or brewing decks and DnD campaign/characters.

Teacher in Programmation/Design/Graphics in Video games

• Teach the game design, game development/programmation (C++ with SDL2 or C# with Unity), graphics, level design and other domains of video games.
• Use Moodle and Gather as support tools for teaching
• Answer the questions of the students
• Help students with the debugging of their projects and code
• Deepen the content of the modules and share my experience
• Help students with the installations and usage of video game engines
• Help with the content update of the modules in Moodle and suggest modifications to the general operations of the classes
• Other tasks required by the job
