Melissa Hollingworth

 I would like to introduce myself, my name is Melissa. I am currently looking for full time or part time employment.  I have open availability and I can start working for you as soon as possible.

I am very reliable and trustworthy. I am able to learn new skills quickly. I preform my duties to the best of my abilities. I work well under pressure and can stand for long periods of time. I have had very few sick days and call in advance when I am ill. I also give plenty of notice when life events need my attention.

I have my Food Safety Trading Certificate. I enjoy getting to know residents, their families and other team members.  I have had WHMIS Training. I take pride in keeping all work areas clean and sanitized. I have eight years of experience in long term care and even more experience in Quick Serve Restaurants.  

I have at least ten years of experience cash, debit and credit card transactions.  I have over five years of experience with a touch screen, POS system. I enjoy a customer service, and team based work environment.

 At my last job, I was responsible for the set up, and cleanup of two meals services. I know how to read and follow Master Diet Lists and Therapeutics. Also when time allowed, I would help the cook with meal prep. For example I would make salads and sandwiches and even portion desserts. I keep my work areas neat, clean, stocked and organized. 

At Burger King I had the responsibility of opening the restaurant for the day. This included preparing the coffee, getting the shake machine together and operating. When not busy with customers I helped with other daily preparations such as chopping lettuce, slicing tomatoes and onions and making gray.  I did fill in, when needed, in the back of house and have used deep fryers and a broiler. I always tried to answer customer questions regarding ingredients or how the food was prepared.
