• Develop new innovative counselling and wellness programs which meet the needs of Black (and other racialize) communities in Northwest Toronto

• develop comprehensive policies and practice standards on providing counselling services to racialise with a focus on Black communities.

• Manage the recruitment, selection, training, and evaluation of counsellors.

• Provide professional clinical direction, coaching, case consultations and mentoring of staff,

• identify specific programs/services for making appropriate referrals to community agencies

• Establishing goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the Executive Director and other staff.

• To pilot and implement Delta Family’s Sesa “Wo Suba model” of Care for Black community members

• Plan, implement and oversee new and current initiatives with key partners to grow the Counselling service

• Ensuring that management is aware of relevant heath care trends and issues.

·       Assists the Board to implement strategic plans to guide the development of programs and services and fulfil the mission of the FHT.

·       Administration, coordination, and delivery of services for the agency consistent with the mission, values, policies, and procedures of Regeneration Community Services (RCS), as well as government legislation/regulations.

·       Ensures effective client member, staff, student, volunteer, advisory and community relations are developed and maintained.

·       Ensure program and service compliance with relevant legislation and funder/Ministry by working in partnership with managers, supervisors, staff, and client-members.

·       Participating in the development of an annual budget and operational plan to support the programs and agency mandate.

·       Clinical and Operational standards for Mental Health and Justice (MH&J) Program · Develop, plan, and ensure the acquisition of supportive services to improve quality of life for clients

·       Shelter programming and service delivery

·       Assessment for individuals referred to MH&J Program.

·       Prepares reports, evaluations, correspondence, and other documents relating to client’s participation and program compliance with required and recommended MH&J standards and guidelines.
