Min Greenwood

I am a recent graduate and passionate Osteopathic Manual Practitioner dedicated to delivering patient-centered, holistic care. My training was completed entirely based upon the principles established by Dr. Still, with a strong focus on the relationship between structure and function and the body’s inherent capacity for self-healing and self-regulating.

As a new practitioner, I bring fresh clinical knowledge, strong assessment skills, and a commitment to principles-based practice. Through comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment planning, I utilize my extensive knowledge in subjects such as anatomy, physiology and osteopathic theory.

During my clinical training, I developed confidence in treating a diverse patient population while refining my palpation skills and therapeutic approach. I prioritize clear communication, patient education, and collaboration to ensure patients feel informed, supported, and actively involved in their health journey.

I am highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to continue expanding my skills through mentorship and professional development. I am excited to begin my career in a collaborative clinical environment where I can contribute positively to patient outcomes while growing as a practitioner.

During my clinical training as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner Student, I completed extensive supervised hands-on hours providing assessment and treatment to a diverse patient population. While at the free CAO-run Professional Student Clinic in Hamilton I was able to gain valuable experience and hands-on learning while being supported by multiple clinic directors.  

I completed my 4 year osteopathic education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, where I received comprehensive training in principles-based osteopathy. My education included extensive hands-on clinical training, detailed study of collective mechanics and essential skills in professionalism and ethics. The programs rigorous and disciplined training has provided me with strong palpation skills, clinical reasoning abilities, and a structured approach to patient care.

I also completed my Bachelor’s of Science degree at the University of Toronto, majoring in Neuroscience with a double minor in Immunology and Physiology. My academic training there provided a strong foundation in the structure and function of the nervous system, immune responses, and human physiology, with an emphasis on critical thinking and scientific analysis.

Through courses and research-focused lab work, I developed an understanding of complex biological systems and their interconnectedness. This background has strengthened my ability to interpret clinical presentations through a scientific lens and supports my evidence-informed approach to patient care.
