Mohamed Maaz Rehan

Following the completion of my degree, I began my professional journey as an Assistant Professor at MVJCE in Bengaluru, India. In this role, I honed my leadership skills, collaborated with talented individuals, and mentored students. Later, I moved to Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore as an Assistant Professor, where I played a key role in a team working towards obtaining accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation.

During my tenure in Mysore, I discovered the transformative power of data manipulation across various fields, including Mechanical Engineering. This realization prompted a shift in my career path from Mechanical Engineering to Data Science. Motivated by a desire to understand the intersection of these two domains, I took a leap of faith and joined a training institute as a Data Analytics Master Trainer. With nearly three years of experience in learning and working with Data Science and its associated tools, I am passionate about gaining deeper insights into the subject and applying it across diverse domains.

In line with my future ambitions in the field of Data Science, although I am a Mechanical Engineer by base of profession, and have worked in educational institutions as an Assistant Professor in the same field, I have parallelly completed short term certification programs in Data Science and Analytics from IIT Delhi and Imarticus Learning (Bengaluru). I have scored an aggregate of First Class throughout my education. During my days of career in the college, I developed interest in subjects like artificial intelligence and data science and want to gain more knowledge than I have through the short certifications. The tools that are deployed in this field all over the world never stop fascinating me and only has increased my thirst and curiosity for the subject. I have maintained good scores and maximized the utilization of the opportunities that I have been provided to gain more out of my education. I have done plentiful of reading outside of the curriculum in this field in order to enhance my subject knowledge. I have also actively participated in debates, cultural activities, sporting events and extracurricular events at the College and have been on the organizing committee of many events
