I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics for business and more than 5 years of experience working as a database administrator and developer specializing in Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 databases. During my support for multiple critical and complex projects, I worked on various aspects of database administration including administering databases, managing data security, performance tuning, database availability, designing ER diagrams, writing complex queries, triggers, functions, and stored procedures, and generating analytical reports. Dealing with databases throughout my 5 years of career taught me very important and useful aspects of databases like different ways in which data can be analyzed, generating complex reports, taking backups of data to maintain copies of it in case we need to restore it, and much more. Moreover, all these skills required huge research to hone and master them. Mostly I worked with government entities in Afghanistan, and they had data in varied formats.

Apart from technical skills, I am also responsible for crucial administrative tasks such as scheduling and attending meetings with different departments and transcribing minutes, ensuring database vulnerabilities and fixes are analyzed and patched.
