About Nadia Endrinal:
I am a psychology student graduate who strives to give back to the community. I have devoted four years of community service to diverse groups through organizations and college and university volunteer work. What I believe was most valuable in my experiences was getting to know different people with different perspectives and facing different societal challenges. Combined with my Psychology degree, this has greatly influenced my beliefs and outlook. Volunteering and working with passionate individuals are some of the many things that will positively impact any environment where I bring my future work and volunteer involvement.
I hope to be exposed to more exciting opportunities and learn more new perspectives to bring with me in my future endeavors. I want to fulfill my ultimate goal of having a significant and positive footprint on many communities and organizations.
Experience
I had the chance to fully develop my customer service skills in my recent position as an administrative assistant, where I took care of more than 80 client inquiries through phone, email, and in person. Part of this client interaction is sending them to the appropriate department where their concerns are handled appropriately. On top of this, I grabbed the opportunity to learn trucking logistics, where I worked with 60+ truck drivers daily and organized their entry and exit paperwork. The administrative part of my job included:
- Balancing the company’s monthly bank statements.
- Processing client orders and billing clients.
- Ordering office materials.
- Processing physical mail.
- Preparing meeting minutes.
- Organizing company retreats.
Before becoming an administrative assistant, I discovered my potential in customer service in my position as a supervisor in a fast-food chain. I balanced both working on the floor and taking care of the administrative needs of the restaurant by answering phone calls and emails, data entry, inventory, managing weekly deliveries, and, most importantly, looking after customers. By being the enthusiastic face of the restaurant, we maintained its customer loyalty. I was also entrusted with financial responsibilities, from checking and balancing each employee’s tills to directly depositing the restaurant’s daily earnings to the bank after each shift.
Education
I am a recent graduate from the University of Alberta where I got my Bachelors of Science in Psychology degree.
