Nasiha Fazal

I am currently a full-time student at the University of Calgary, pursuing a BA in Urban Studies. I have 3+ years of experience learning GIS, mapping and softwares such as ArcGIS online, ArcGIS Pro and QGIS. I currently run an online business, where I sell digital art and crochet bouquets. Part-time, I work as a Crisis Line Worker at the Distress Centre Calgary.

In October 2022, I started my online business, Illustra. Where I sell digital portraits, e-invites and crocheted bouquets. 

Currently, I am working a dual position at the Distress Centre Calgary, as a Crisis Line Worker and Midnight Crisis Line Worker. Here I perform crisis intervention for callers in distress. I have been trained for chats, texts, local and national lines.

In the past I have volunteered for several local businesses in Calgary, as a content creator. I have also supported not-for profit businesses by donating my hours, helping with customer services and 

I am currently in my fourth year in the Urban Studies program at the University of Calgary. I aspire to pursue a Master's of Landscape Architecture in the future.
