RESEARCH:

Pulmonary Medicine & Critical Care: June 2017- Aug 2017

• Worked closely with Moira E. Kendra APN for 375 hours in her care of patients with COPD and  Pneumonia for her Mobility Research Study conducted at Morristown Medical Center 
• Assessed patients in their completion of aerobic exercises, collected patients’ medical data,  and completed analysis and documentation 

Placental Physiology:  Sept 2018 - May 2020 

• Focused on the physiological impact of advanced glycation end products on placental trophoblast cell development and gene expression, particularly its effect of calcification on cartilage to bone, evaluating how protein expression and bone ossification are affected by select RNA exposure, alongside professor, Dr. David Burleigh at Stockton University

Scotch Plains Fire Department March 2024- Present

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) 

• Position includes providing emergency medical treatment under various conditions both at the scene and en route to the hospital, driving and operating an ambulance, and lifting and moving patients and equipment

Morristown Medical Center: July 2019- Nov 2023 

• Unit Associate on Medical/Surgical floor
• Position includes assisting nursing and medical personnel in delegated direct/indirect patient care activities, rounding to ensure that the patient is comfortable, taking incoming phone calls, directing visitors, receiving new patients, responding to call lights
• Worked closely and collaborated with RNs, physicians, NPs, PAs and CNAs to provide the best care to our patients

Envision Healthcare: Oct 2021- May 2022 

• Medical Scribe in Emergency Department at Morristown Medical Center 
• Transcribed medical notes for patients’ clinical visit to the ED under the dictation and direction of medical providers including physicians, PAs, and NPs
