  • Strong understanding of the principles of Data Warehouse/ETL process using Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, Star Schema modeling.
  • Expertise in preparation of test artifacts like testing strategies, test plan, test cases, regression status reports, productivity metrics, testing estimation reports and test summary reports.
  • Extensive work experience in ETL, Hadoop, Bigdata, OBI reports, Cognos reporting & Database migration testing with good command on complex SQL queries and Unix/Linux commands.
  • Good hands-on databases and applications like Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, Netezza, Datastage, Informatica, Abinitio, SSIS, ODI, TFS, TWS, Pentaho, Spark and Hive.
  • Expertise in utilizing automation tools like ICEDQ, Query Surge, Beyond Compare for DB to DB, File to File, File to DB comparison to cater data warehouse/ ETL regression needs.
  • Experience in utilizing Test Management tool like HP ALM, Jira for Test Planning, Test Case writing, Test Execution, Requirement Mapping and Defect Process.
  • Well versed with automation tool ICEDQ to create test scripts, schedule test execution for regression needs.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Methodologies, Quality Assurance Processes, QA Methodologies and STLC.
  • Experience of working and leading the team in Waterfall and Agile (Scrum) Methodology.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
