About Olusola Akinbode:

I am a full-stack developer with solid experience in React.js, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, MySQL, and MongoDB. I have a passion for writing beautiful code whether that means a good-looking website or efficient, well-organized logic in the backend. I have a degree in software engineering from the University of Calgary. Before pursuing software development full-time, I was an engineer in the energy industry for over 8 years.聽

Experience

My professional experience is as follows:

  1. Full Stack Software Developer with One Community Global. In this role, I work with MongoDB, node.js, React, and Redux to help build a volunteer management web application. I work here as a volunteer to continue building my real-world skills. One Community Global is dedicated to building open-source frameworks to advance the goal of sustainability.
  2. Software Development Intern. In this role, I developed an Angular/Typescript, and Spring Boot/Java microservice to handle security for the existing company application. I created authentication and authorization workflows using JWT and OAuth.聽

Education

Master's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary. (Completed in April 2023)

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta
