About oussama jalleli:
In the boundless frontier of Artificial Intelligence, I stand as a researcher bridging technology and humanity. Having earned an engineering degree in Information Technology, specializing in Data Science, my journey is fueled by a passion for unraveling the mysteries of AI and applying its transformative power to the medical field. Much like an explorer venturing into uncharted realms, I delve into the intricate interplay between data and life, striving to illuminate pathways where innovation meets compassion. My work is not merely technical—it is a quest to redefine the boundaries of possibility, with the hope of crafting solutions that heal, empower, and inspire.
Experience
During my academic and professional journey, I have gained valuable experience in the application of artificial intelligence across diverse fields. At the National Institute for Scientific Research (INRS) in Canada, I worked on a cutting-edge research internship focusing on context-aware deepfake detection. This involved developing a comprehensive audio/video analysis toolchain and leveraging advanced AI techniques, such as attention mechanisms and scene context, to detect video forgeries with forensic precision. At the Behavioural Neuroscience Lab, Lund University, Sweden, I contributed to a pioneering project utilizing 3D pose estimation to analyze Parkinsonian phenotypes in mouse behavior, bridging AI with biomedical research. Additionally, during my internship at IP-Label in Tunisia, I automated analysis report generation by employing large language models (LLMs), streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency. These experiences reflect my versatility and commitment to leveraging AI for impactful innovations across multiple domains.
Education
My educational journey reflects a strong foundation in engineering and a commitment to advancing knowledge in data science and telecommunications. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Telecommunications at the National Institute for Scientific Research (INRS) in Montreal, Canada, starting January 2025. This program allows me to delve deeper into cutting-edge research in signal processing and advanced communication systems.
Previously, I completed the Data Science Engineering Cycle at Esprit School of Engineering in Ariana, Tunisia, where I gained expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and AI applications from September 2021 to September 2024. This was preceded by the Integrated Preparatory Cycle at the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in Sousse, Tunisia, from September 2019 to June 2021, where I developed a strong grounding in engineering principles, mathematics, and problem-solving skills. These academic milestones have equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle complex challenges in both research and applied fields.
