Been in Healthcare   field 20 yrs plus. Love geriatrics.  Like the concept the elderly can live in a safe home environment as many yrs possible.   Have up to date First Aide n CPR.   Have had to use CPR on resident that had heart attack til EMT arrived.  I connect well with the elderly as raised by grandfather. I respect their ways and try to understand their fears of the outside world. Try to reassure as the confusion n frustration of dementia sets in .  

20 yrs care home experience. I try to educate myself with  info on geriatrics such as methods of dealing with anger, depression n loss of partners and friends.     Supervised a c store/ gas station over saw the safety regulations/ staff n. Issues, dealt with public,   

Continuing Care Aide , First Aid n CPR, WHMIS 2015, Safe Food Handling ,
