Piero is a seasoned digital marketing and ecommerce leader with over 20 years of experience in driving online expansion, customer acquisition, and profitability for various brands and portfolios. He is currently the Vice President of Global Ecommerce and Marketplace at Tilley, a premium outdoor apparel and accessories company, where he is responsible for the ecommerce strategic vision and direction across all product categories, digital platforms, and markets.
With a laser-focus on performance marketing and responsive web design, Piero works closely with the marketing and retail teams to grow the direct-to-consumer sales exponentially by improving email marketing, product and collections presentation, decreasing abandonment rates, and hiring great talent as needed to achieve these goals. He also develops and executes strategies to drive profitable online growth and innovation, leveraging web analytics, partner management, site operations, and project prioritization and management. Piero's oversees the performance marketing department and has deep knowledge across a suite of digital channels Paid Search and Social, Display, and Video. With support from 3 direct reports, Piero executes, delegates and prioritize workloads ensuring programs are launched on time and on budget while staying attuned to performance and give direction on changes as required. Piero brings 20 years of hands-on experience and knowledge of platforms so he can better articulate to internal teams, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Piero has a keen eye for good design and innovation and is on top of trends in the luxury goods industry.
