Please accept this letter to express my interest to join in the Data Science team . I am a highly motivated and committed professional with three years of development experience in this industry. I earned a bachelor's degree in software engineering and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Bishop's University, Quebec. I have hands-on work experience in Machine learning technologies, Python 3, and Data Science to create and implement software applications. I made a standalone application that will predict the future temperature and humidity using Linear Regression based on a CSV file that contains 40 million data using Python Pandas and visualizes it using matplotlib, Python.

Have good communication skills with the ability to translate technical terms with non-technical customers:

I am very good at presenting my technical work to senior management, clients and stakeholders. I have done presentations at work and presented my thesis to the university dean.

I have translated technical terminologies for non-technical audiences: 

1. Such as explaining what PySpark is and the uses of PySpark and some overview of Python and Jupyter Notebook.

2. In some meetings, I have explained the usage of Databricks and the cross-language functionality of Databricks and how it benefits my team. (Example: Python, R, Spark SQL and Scala can be used interchangeably in Databricks)

3. Explained the Azure Data Factory's usage and presented how data gets transferred from one storage to another in the copy activity and how Databricks can be used for data transformation in Azure Data Factory.

4. Gave a quick overview of Azure Data Lake Storage, how to use it, and how it looks very similar to our standard computer storage structure even though Azure Data Lake Storage is built on a completely different technology.

5. I have tremendous experience in Power BI; I have done Power BI presentations for my university course. I have explained to the audience the total usage of Power BI & Power Query and how easy it is to create dashboards once the necessary data is available or accessible.

Be passionate about continuous improvement, artificial intelligence and neuroscience:

Throughout my progress at work, I have enhanced my programming abilities, and I am continuously improving by attending various training courses run by Microsoft and sometimes by Databricks. Therefore, I am up to date with the latest technology. Also, I am very interested in and dedicated to learning new Artificial intelligence technologies. I am getting AI Engineering certification from Microsoft, where I have studied Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Anomaly Detection, Projections and Azure Cognitive Services.

Be highly data and digitally literate:

I am a capable and digitally literate problem-solver at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency. I can use information and communication technologies to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information, requiring both cognitive and technical skills. In the past, I have used technologies such as Microsoft Azure cloud, Power BI and Databricks. I have used these technologies to evaluate the data, and based on the evaluation, I have provided reports to the clients and management. I have used these tools to create transformation datasets per client requirements and produced Power BI reports for management overview.  

Have experience with digital modernization and project management/agile methodologies:

Digital modernization is upgrading or adopting new technology systems, platforms, and software solutions to meet the needs of today's organizations. I will be a great asset to your organization due to my hands-on working experience with the latest technology available in today's market. I have a tremendous amount of experience working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks and Power BI.

Project Management: I designed and implemented a project to get accurate results using a better corrosion detection algorithm and solve the corrosion. Weak-classifier Color-based Corrosion Detector (WCCD) has been chosen as an algorithm for the solution. It is based on the idea of combining weak classifiers to obtain a good global performance. Based on the scenario, the solution has been developed to detect corroded areas from a specific image. So the system will be divided into two factors of the WCCD.

The global warming project has been developed using Python. The goal of the project is to analyze data of temperature and humidity from an enormous amount of data and show the changes using multiple visualization techniques to users Also, it includes calculations such as mean, standard deviation and variance then data prediction of temperature and humidity. I performed Data cleansing, analyze, Retrieving, and data prediction using linear regression. I have used Matplotlib, Sklearn, Tkinter, Tkintertable.

I worked on a reservation project based on Natural language processing, and the basic idea of the project was to retrieve the data from incoming data and chunk the entities from it. In order to achieve this I have used NLTK python for the implementation. I used sentence segmentation, tokenization, part-of-speech tagging, entity detection, and relation detection techniques of the Natural language processing techniques.

Have strong technical knowledge, particularly in data science:

I have solid technical knowledge in Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence; I have used Data Manipulation, Visualization, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning in my past work experiences. I have performed data cleaning and implemented various methods to predict the future temperature and humidity using linear regression in Python as well as data visualization to display the output based on the client's need. Also, I have completed AI fundamentals and Azure fundamentals courses with Microsoft.

Be a problem-solver and solution-oriented:

During my stay with Finetech Consultancy, one of the APIs we used to retrieve specific data was announced to shut down temporarily. It causes significant issues within the project. So I suggested a different API to resolve the issue and continued to develop with the new API permanently without any issues.

In another scenario, when my team was working with a large amount of data and we faced some minor issues to return the wrong output due to some unknown issue. My team couldn't perform normal duties for two days due to the issue. I came up with a solution to analyze the data and found some unknown values in the cities column that caused the issue.

Be creative, resilient and results-oriented:

I am creative by finding new ways to solve a problem, whether it be dealing with rough clients or solving a technical issue such as Spark SQL. Spark SQL may have a problem in writing certain case statements, where I could simply use Python or PySpark to overcome the limitations. I have the ability to be resilient to rough customers, I am a good negotiator and a good talker, I will and I have in the past convinced my clients and customers in the case of objections or when the client is not much interested, such as moving from SQL Server technologies into Databricks and ADLS. I am always positive and result oriented, I have never given up on a task I have taken, and I have completed the tasks and provided results, such results could be migrating the clients from older technology to newer technology or getting the data organized and producing a report.
