Cooking has been my passion ever since I was a kid and that has turned into my career now. With over 7 years of experience of working in various restaurants setting I have developed skills and gained experience that will be an asset in my employment. 

I have 7 years of working in restaurant in various roles. In my current role as grade manger, I am responsible for executing cold dishes like ceviches, crudo, salads and desserts. Working at my current job has helped me develop and refine my culinary skills. It has also helped me develop skills like menu planning and food preparation in large volumes. My past experiences of working in gluten free, plant based, vegetarian friendly restaurant and creating menu that align with these diets will make me an ideal candidate for restaurant.

I am capable of managing a large team  and smooth operation of the store. From my past experience of managing restaurants k have learned keys skills that includes, cost management,  At my past work place , I perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Hire and train new staff and assigns tasks to them.

• Create work schedules and ensure that everyone adheres to it.

• Supervise cooking and taste the food to ensure that it is in conformance with the standard recipe.

• Order food supplies and ingredients and distribute them to the staff.

• Assess the performance of each employee and conduct 1:1 session to provide feedback.

• Assist in the planning of menus and fix the prices of food items.

I can work efficiently under pressure and can focus on multiple tasks simultaneously. I am able at managing people and extracting the best out of them. With my experience and relevant skillset, I can significantly contribute to the growth of any restaurant.

I have a bachelors degree in science major, biotechnology,

a Post graduate diploma course in Food science and technology,

food handlers certificate.
