I am a qualified fashion and costume designer and artist very versed in multiple
disciplines which includes pattern drafting , grading cutting,grading sewing foam carving
for props, wire bending and fabrication airbrush illustration which allows me to work on
many varied projects seamlessly for many years.
I have done many Commissioned paintings and murals.
I have designs and built many award winning costumes in many countries. But the feather in
my hat was the piece that I build for the opening gala of the Toronto arts council
exhibition,based on the painting Riding Death by Jean-Michael Basquit it had to be not only
three dimensional and interactive to house a person inside and move it was a challenge to
accomplish this feat, it was not the biggest but the most challenging and rewarding. I have
designed and built costumes for the stage; The Milwaukee ballet, the Detroit’s museum gala
fundraising, a production for a company in Chicago and very recently for the TDSB Lawrence
heights high school play
I have collaborated on many winning kings of Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago and built many
winners locally.
