 As an empathetic, observant, and ambitious person I have always been curious about human behaviour. I want to study the brain deeply and its connection to behaviour which is why I aspire to get my PhD in Psychology specializing in neuropsychology - It is not only a professional goal but a personal goal as well that drives me make a positive change in a persons life psychologically. As Im currently studying Psychology and simultaneously work in a research lab which tackles real life issues related to psychology and human behaviour, I want to work directly in a psychology clinic where I get to learn from professionals whom I aspire to become like. My most recent experience is working at Michael Garron Hospital as an admin in the Maternal and Newborn department where I complete paper work regarding patients and infants, communicate between physicians and nurses as well as respond to inquiries by patients whom I am the first point of contact. I have experience using Healthcare software like powerchart/ansos and am confident that I can be well versed in the computer software used in the clinic. This has given be efficient skills in multitasking and dealing patiently and courteously with people while there is work at the same time.
