Hello there! I am a passionate individual with a strong background in web development and programming. With a skill set that spans from HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to Python, Java, and C-family languages, I thrive in dynamic and collaborative environments. 

My scholastic career has provided me with a solid foundation in web programming, database administration, and agile approaches as a recent graduate with a Computer Systems Technology diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Throughout my academic journey, I've been engaged in a range of projects that highlight my problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Notably, my participation in projects like the City of Vancouver's Artist Roster, WorkSafeBC’s Technology Framework Monitor, and our class project, CodeCraft, for our Software Engineering course, have given me practical experience with codebase optimization, modern tool usage, peer and client collaboration, and agile methodologies.

I am no stranger to agile methodologies and team-based projects, demonstrated through the development of GreenQuest, an educational mobile game, and CrowdmApp, a real-time COVID-19 information application. These experiences underscore my ability to collaborate effectively and deliver results on time.

In my past role as a part-time Full-Stack Developer with The Heart Company, I ensured continued user-friendliness and enhanced the visual appeal of the website. Also, I created and sustained both the front-end and back-end of the Shopify website with the aim of driving increased sales.

Past roles, such as Newspaper Distribution Specialist with Dolphin Delivery, Delivery Professional at The Heart Company, and Inventory Clerk at Western Inventory Service, have honed my communication, organization, and time-management skills. I consistently delivered quality services while fostering strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I am an enthusiast for various outdoor activities, including camping, backpacking, and rock climbing. In fact, my love for rock climbing has extended to teaching others the ropes and sharing my expertise in belaying, anchor building, and more.

Intrigued by technology's potential and driven by a commitment to excellence, I am excited to explore opportunities that allow me to leverage my skills and contribute to collaborative projects. Whether it's coding or scaling a rock wall, I am always up for a challenge!

My professional experience includes serving as a Part-time Full-Stack Developer with The Heart Company, where I've focused on maintaining website usability and enhancing visual appeal to drive increased sales.

 Additionally, my roles as a Newspaper Distribution Specialist, Delivery Professional, and Inventory Clerk have honed my communication, organizational, and time-management skills, bolstered by my exceptional work ethic and drive for excellence. 

In December 2023, I received my diploma in Computer Systems Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
