About Septembre Anderson:

My name is Septembre Anderson and I'm a Creative Front-End Web Developer with over 5 years of experience building and maintaining websites for a number of organizations and brands.

These days, I build and maintain custom Shopify themes using HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript and Liquid for digital agencies and their clients, however, I have diverse experience with a number of CMS, languages and clients, in both agency and corporate environments.

Experience

Creative Front-End Shopify Developer with over 5 years of experience building and maintaining websites in HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery and Liquid as well as using CMS such as Shopify, WordPress and Salesforce. 

Worked with over 35 clients in both agency and corporate environments. Additional 9 years in journalism, copywriting and social media management industries — coupled with graphic design experience — allow me to take a holistic approach to web development by applying a keen sense of design with impactful copy.

Education

I completed Juno College's Front-End Web Development program and also hold certificates from Juno in Intermediate JavaScript and WordPress and Shopify Custom Theme Development.

Before I was a front-end web developer, I was a journalist and I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Carleton University as well as a post-graduate diploma in Journalism from Humber College.
