Stephanie Perry

With experience in adult education, mental health support, and cross cultural work, I strive to offer compassionate support and acceptance in my work. With a client focused and trauma informed approach I work with clients to identify their values, goals, strengths and needs so we can collaborate on a plan. I believe that anyone can live a good life with support, understanding, and community. 

Completing an 8 month practicum with Coverdale Counselling and Consulting, offering one on one counselling sessions to a variety of clients. I have worked with hospice patients and their families, those in substance use recovery, and clients who have experienced trauma. 

Previously, I worked at a residential program offering support to adults with mental health struggles. This work included support with daily tasks, crisis support, being part of multidisciplinary services and detailed record keeping. I also had the opportunity to offer training and education to staff members to ensure consistency and a high level of care for residents.
