About Svetlana Gussakovsky:

As a dynamic, analytical, and results-oriented individual with a keen passion for providing strategic leadership in direct accountability roles, the opportunity to do so in this new capacity is highly intriguing.

I am currently a Clinical Informatics Specialist, RN, BN with Shared Health/ Digital Health in Winnipeg, MB. As part of the Acute Care Solution Group, I conduct clinical analyses, manage clinical business flow, and continually work to ensure that business and Digital Health goals are met and exceeded. This includes engaging in project management, change management, and strategic business planning initiatives while continually working to manage and mitigate risk. I also facilitate clinical approval processes, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide expertise on clinical testing, workflows, and role assignments. This work builds upon roles as a Registered Nurse. In these roles, I have not only performed healthcare-related work, but also enhanced my administrative, operational, and leadership abilities, working closely with multiple levels of key stakeholders and other professionals. I believe that my background in these areas provides me with the knowledge to succeed and excel in this new role.

Over my career, I have been a primary point of contact for analysis, input, and feedback. One major theme that I have incorporated into my work thus far has been trying to shift the focus from project-based problem solving to system-wide rethinking toward innovation. This has been especially useful in my current role, where I consistently work to “think outside the box” in order to identify unique technological solutions that can advance patient care and service in the province. My combination of practical healthcare experience, academic training and professional development, and leadership experience all combine to help me develop comprehensive solutions to complex challenges. Further, my broad experience in managing people, resources, and operations, in addition to my clinical experience, affords me unique insights and expertise that allows me to effectively serve individuals of varying cultures, backgrounds, and ages.

I believe that my experiences give me the foundations for success in the diverse new challenges a new role would present, having honed essential skills like critical thinking, situational analysis, and time management. I am technically proficient, possess an advanced understanding of medical terminology/ clinical operations, and am an effective communicator. I also know the value of organization and professionalism, and I am a team player with job-specific experience as well as a broad foundation in innovation, efficiency, and leadership. Most importantly, I have a genuine passion for this field, and more specifically, for leading and assisting others in modernizing and driving strategic change. I invite you to review my application and welcome any opportunity to discuss my suitability. Thank you kindly for your time and consideration.
